discovered a new

Head of MoE Subjects & Cultural Studies
I am pleased to join North Gate British School as the Head of MoE Subjects and Modern Foreign Languages. With 35 years of experience in education, I bring extensive expertise as an SLT member from various schools across the UAE. I hold a High Diploma in Education for teaching Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Modern Foreign Languages from the University of Michigan in Dubai,
and I am currently pursuing further qualifications in Islamic Education and Teaching. Throughout my career, I have worked as a mentor, coach, and quality assurance reviewer, and I am a proud member of the Arabic Instructional Round Committee from the USA, where I contribute to evaluating teaching practices and offering developmental recommendations. My educational philosophy emphasizes creating a positive, student-centered classroom that promotes independent learning, critical thinking, and cultural values. I am excited to lead the MoE department at North Gate, and I am committed to fostering excellence in teaching and learning throughout the school.

My name is Bousy El-Mashad and I have over 20 years of experience working in the field of
education in the United Arab Emirates. I have worked in a number of schools as a Social
Studies
and Moral Education teacher. My experience includes being a Department Head and

have many teaching qualifications and CPD certificates such as being an Expert Creative
Educator, along with a Diploma in Neuro Linguistic Programming. I always ensure that I
